The Justice Projects

In 2022, we partnered with The Law Firm of Justin E. Fairfax on a project to assist citizens in Virginia who have claims arising from police actions and other violence.  These claims are notably hard to pursue, but are necessary to create a sense of accountability.   Recent results include the $3 million settlement obtained on behalf of Donovan Lynch against a police department arising from an unjustified shooting.  The settlement was the largest of its kind in the history of Virginia. We also represent the family of Deshayla Harris who was killed by a stray bullet in 2021 in their quest for justice in this unsolved crime.
